Joel is a Senior Partner and co-founder of City Center Advisors, LLC. Managing the finances and assets for anyone can be a very personal undertaking.  Interactions with a client and often times their close and extended families, requires not only thorough knowledge of the subject matter but also a keen understanding of interpersonal relationships and the ability to counsel as well as advise.It is in these skills that Joel excels.

The National Social Security Advisor℠ or NSSA® Certification

NSSA® certification holders have completed a course of study encompassing how benefits are calculated, how benefits are impacted due to earnings, how spousal benefits work, and the impact of public employee pensions on Social Security benefits.  Certificate holders are also educated on various methods for maximizing benefits for married couples, divorcees, widow and widowers, as well as families under special circumstances.  NSSA® certification holders must pace an end of course examination and maintain continuing education to stay current on Social Security changes.

APMA® designees have completed a course of study encompassing client assessment and suitability, risk/return, investment objectives, bond and equity portfolios, modern portfolio theory and investor psychology. With hands-on practice in analyzing investment policy statements, building portfolios, and making asset allocation decisions including sell, hold, and buy decisions within a client’s portfolio. Individuals must pass an end-of-course examination.

Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE)
